Rochester Seniors Lead Rockets to Sweep Jacksonville on Senior Night

Rochester’s seniors took center court and delivered a strong performance Tuesday night, leading the Rockets to a straight-set victory over the Jacksonville Crimsons on Senior Night.

Playing an all-senior lineup, Rochester controlled the match from start to finish, winning 25–16, 25–15. The Rockets paired a balanced offensive effort with effective serving and steady defense to complete the 2–0 sweep at home.

Rochester established control in the opening set, building a comfortable advantage and maintaining it on the way to a nine-point victory. The Rockets carried that momentum into the second set, keeping Jacksonville from finding a foothold and closing out the match with a 25–15 win.

Peyton Zeidler led Rochester’s attack with nine kills and added two blocks. Liv Kratochvil contributed across several areas, finishing with seven kills, four service aces and six digs. Her production at the net and from the service line helped the Rockets maintain pressure throughout the match.

Cami Tinder directed the offense with 22 assists while also recording six digs. Cami Berberet added three kills and two blocks, giving Rochester another contributor at the net.

Sam Kerley led the Rockets defensively with 10 digs and chipped in two aces, helping Rochester keep rallies alive and turn defensive stops into offensive opportunities.

The evening also celebrated Rochester’s eight seniors: Tinder, Hannah Florent, Brooklyn Rezba, Sam McDannald, Kratochvil, Berberet, Kerley and Zeidler. With the senior class sharing the court, the Rockets marked the occasion with a convincing team victory.

Rochester’s control across both sets made for a memorable Senior Night, as the Rockets honored their graduating players with a sweep in front of their home crowd.
