It was a special night in Pana as the Panthers celebrated senior night while continuing their incredible 2026 volleyball season with a dominant 2-0 sweep over the Gillespie Miners.
Before the action got underway, Pana honored two seniors, Phoenix Pope and Bella Bennett, recognizing their hard work, dedication, and contributions to the Panthers volleyball program.
Once the celebration was over, it was back to business for Pana.
The Panthers wasted no time taking control of the match, dominating the opening set with a convincing 25-13 victory. Gillespie struggled to find an answer for Pana’s relentless attack, and the second set was even more one-sided.
Pana continued to pour it on, cruising to a 25-10 victory in the second set to complete the sweep and send its seniors out with another win on their special night.
With the victory, the Panthers reached an impressive milestone, securing their 30th win of the season and improving to 30-2 overall.
Thirty wins, just two losses, and a senior night to remember. It’s been a remarkable season for the Panthers, and they showed once again why they’ve been such a dominant force on the volleyball court this fall.
