Clinton Sweeps Both Sides at Multi-Team Meet

Clinton delivered a dominant performance on both the girls and boys sides, sweeping the team titles at a competitive multi-school meet.

On the women’s side, Clinton piled up 165 points to secure a comfortable victory over El Paso-Gridley, who finished second with 121. Arthur-Lovington-Atwood-Hammond claimed third with 105, followed by Monticello in fourth (74) and Mt. Pulaski in fifth (22). Clinton’s depth proved to be the difference, consistently placing athletes across multiple events to build a commanding lead.

The men’s competition told a similar story, as Clinton once again stood on top with 173 points. El Paso-Gridley finished runner-up with 132, while Monticello (85) edged out Arthur-Lovington-Atwood-Hammond (80) for third. Mt. Pulaski rounded out the field with 40 points.

Clinton’s sweep highlighted a well-rounded team effort, showcasing strength across track and field events. El Paso-Gridley showed solid performances on both sides to earn a pair of second-place finishes, while Monticello and Arthur-Lovington-Atwood-Hammond battled closely in the boys standings.

With strong showings across the board, Clinton continues to establish itself as a force as the season progresses.
