Rochester Rolls Past Lincoln 56-6

Rochester came out firing Friday night, scoring early and often on its way to a dominant 56-6 victory over Lincoln.

The Rockets jumped out to a 21-0 lead after the first quarter.

Rochester opened the scoring with a touchdown pass to Zane Zulauf, followed by a touchdown reception by Reece Gade to make it 14-0. Nate Swaney then broke loose for a 72-yard touchdown, extending the Rochester advantage to 21-0.

Rochester quickly responded. Peyton Seifert hauled in a 53-yard touchdown reception, pushing the lead to 35-6.

With less than 20 seconds remaining in the half, the Rockets intercepted a pass. Rochester capitalized immediately, with Nate Swaney catching a touchdown pass as time expired. The extra point made it 42-6 at halftime.
