Rams Erupt for 80-31 Blowout Win Over Central A&M

The Rams responded in a big way on their home floor, delivering one of their most complete performances of the season in a dominant 80-31 victory over Central A&M.

After trailing 6-3 early in the first quarter, the Rams flipped a switch — and never looked back.

The momentum shifted midway through the opening frame when Owen Beyers buried a clutch three-pointer to give the Rams an 8-6 lead. That shot ignited the crowd and sparked a game-changing 14-0 run. Beyers, Aiden Hardy, Gabe Georges, and Brady Brinkoetter all contributed during the surge, pushing the advantage to 22-6 and firmly establishing control.

From there, the Rams caught fire offensively.

The scoring barrage continued through the second and third quarters, highlighted by a lights-out shooting performance from Karson Bruns. Bruns connected on six three-pointers in the game, repeatedly stretching the defense and keeping Central A&M on its heels.

Beyers led all scorers with 21 points on an efficient 7-of-10 shooting night, including 3-of-5 from beyond the arc. Bruns followed closely with 20 points, knocking down 6-of-8 from three-point range in a remarkable display of accuracy. Hardy added 12 points while shooting 50 percent from the field, and both Brady Brinkoetter and Brady Clark chipped in 8 points apiece to round out a balanced attack.

The Rams outscored Central A&M by 49 points and never trailed after Beyers’ go-ahead three in the first quarter.

Beyond the numbers, it was the unselfish ball movement and balanced scoring that defined the night. Every player who saw the floor made meaningful contributions, turning the contest into a statement win and a confidence booster moving forward.

It was a special performance — one that players, coaches, and fans alike won’t soon forget.
