The Central A&M Raiders faced off against the Chrisman Huskies in holiday tournament action, battling through a competitive opening half before falling behind late.
The first two quarters featured back-and-forth play, with both teams trading runs. Central A&M showed strong effort early and was able to grab the lead during the second quarter, keeping the game tight heading toward halftime.
Coming out of the break, Chrisman wasted little time shifting the momentum. The Huskies jumped out quickly in the second half, creating separation on the scoreboard. Despite continued effort from the Raiders, Central A&M was unable to regain control as Chrisman maintained its lead for the remainder of the contest.
The Raiders will look to bounce back as holiday tournament play continues.
