The Central A&M Raiders weathered an early test before asserting control and earning a 59–43 victory over the Neoga Indians.
Central A&M struggled to find its rhythm in the opening quarter, as rebounding issues and missed opportunities allowed Neoga to hold a slim 13–12 edge. The Raiders showed flashes but had difficulty regaining possession and converting consistently.
The game turned in the second quarter when Central A&M settled in offensively. Improved ball movement and stronger shooting sparked a run that flipped the momentum, as the Raiders outscored the Indians to take a 26–17 lead into halftime.
Central A&M carried that energy into the third quarter, tightening up defensively and continuing to score with consistency. The Raiders’ pressure forced Neoga into tough possessions, and the lead grew to 45–28 by the end of the period.
While the pace slowed late, Central A&M never let up. The Raiders maintained their intensity on both ends of the floor and controlled the final quarter to close out the 59–43 win, showcasing depth, discipline, and steady execution down the stretch.
