The Rochester Rockets delivered an all-around impressive performance in their matchup against the Lincolnwood Lancers, cruising to a commanding 66–29 victory.
From the opening tip, Rochester set the tone and never looked back. The Rockets jumped out to an early 23–4 lead in the first quarter and carried that momentum throughout the night, locking in defensively and refusing to slow down. Their pressure defense immediately put Lincolnwood in foul trouble, which only widened the gap on the scoreboard.
While the Lancers tried to find some footing in the second quarter, they couldn’t match Rochester’s intensity. The Rockets continued to force turnovers and control the pace, heading into halftime with a dominant 38–13 lead.
Rochester’s defense was overwhelming all night, coming up with countless steals and making it nearly impossible for Lincolnwood to keep possession for long. Even without needing the extra help, the Lancers’ continued foul trouble gave the Rockets even more opportunities to extend the lead as they continued to pile on points.
By the final buzzer, Rochester’s drive and execution were on full display, sealing an emphatic 66–29 victory and another statement performance.
