On Senior Night, the Pana Panthers boys basketball team turned an early struggle into a statement victory, rallying past the Litchfield Purple Panthers for a 52–38 win at home.
Pana found itself playing from behind for much of the first half, as Litchfield set the tempo early and controlled the pace of the game. The Purple Panthers executed efficiently on both ends of the floor, keeping Pana searching for answers and working to close the gap heading into halftime.
The momentum shifted quickly after the break. Coming out of the locker room, the Pana Panthers showed a noticeable increase in energy and intensity on both ends of the court. The Panthers pushed the tempo, tightened up defensively, and began forcing turnovers that turned into easy scoring opportunities.
That defensive pressure proved to be the difference. Pana came away with multiple steals, fueling a steady comeback as the Panthers clawed their way back into the game. As the second half wore on, Pana gained full control, matching strong defense with timely baskets to take the lead and build separation.
Down the stretch, the Panthers maintained their pace and composure, pulling away in the final minutes to secure the 14-point Senior Night victory.
With the home crowd behind them, Pana delivered a complete second-half performance, honoring their seniors with a hard-fought and memorable win
