The Rams returned home on February 13th to host the Warrensburg-Latham Cardinals, hoping to build momentum and start a winning streak after a big victory on Tuesday night.
From the opening tip, both teams brought intensity and energy to the floor. The atmosphere was competitive as neither side was able to create much separation in the first half. Every possession mattered, with the score staying within a couple of points throughout the opening two quarters.
At halftime, Warrensburg-Latham held a slim 24-21 advantage over the Rams, setting up what looked to be a thrilling second-half battle.
However, coming out of the break, Warrensburg-Latham found its rhythm. The Cardinals began to execute offensively, knocking down key shots and tightening up defensively. What had been a tightly contested matchup quickly shifted as they started to pull away.
Despite the Rams’ efforts to respond, Warrensburg-Latham maintained control down the stretch, extending their lead and ultimately securing a 60-41 victory.
With the win, Warrensburg-Latham closed out the night in strong fashion and officially claimed the conference championship for the season, capping off an impressive run.
