The Pana Panthers earned a convincing 68–49 victory over the North Mac Panthers in a game that stayed firmly in their control after the opening tip.
North Mac struck first with a quick basket to open the game, but Pana answered immediately with a three-pointer and never looked back. From that point on, the Panthers set the tone and stayed in front the rest of the night.
Pana came out firing in the first half, knocking down shot after shot with very few misses. The Panthers mixed in multiple three-pointers with strong drives to the basket, keeping constant pressure on the North Mac defense. North Mac struggled to find momentum on that end of the floor and had difficulty slowing Pana’s fast-paced offense, while also having trouble generating consistent scoring of their own.
After halftime, North Mac came out with more energy and made a push to cut into the deficit. They were able to trim the gap slightly, but never got close enough to seriously threaten Pana’s lead. Each time North Mac tried to build momentum, Pana responded and kept them at arm’s length.
The Panthers maintained their intensity in the second half, continuing to play strong on both ends of the court and forcing North Mac to play from behind the entire game. In the end, Pana closed it out and sealed the win with a 68–49 final score.
