The Clinton Maroons girls’ basketball team delivered a dominant performance against the Warrensburg-Latham Cardinals, controlling the tempo from start to finish in a convincing 67–42 victory.
Clinton jumped out to an early lead and never looked back, setting the tone with quick offensive execution and relentless defensive pressure. The Maroons moved the ball well, created high-quality scoring opportunities, and consistently disrupted Warrensburg-Latham’s rhythm, making it difficult for the Cardinals to generate sustained runs.
Warrensburg-Latham continued to battle, working to cut into the deficit and stay within striking distance, but every push was met with an answer from Clinton. The Maroons’ intensity on both ends of the floor, combined with their ability to convert in transition and in the half court, kept the game firmly in their control.
By the final buzzer, Clinton’s balanced attack and disciplined defense had built a 25-point cushion, sealing a 67–42 win and showcasing a complete team effort from start to finish.
