Lady Tornadoes Reset the Season, Cruise to 50–30 Victory

After a difficult stretch filled with close losses and growing frustration, the Taylorville Lady Tornadoes came into the night searching for a fresh start—and they found it in a big way.

The opening quarter was a feeling-out process for both teams, with Taylorville holding a slim 15–12 advantage at the end of the first. From there, the Lady Tornadoes flipped the switch.

Bailey Jackson took over in the second quarter and never looked back. Jackson was everywhere on the floor, dominating the glass, knocking down shots from beyond the arc, and setting the tone offensively. Her all-around performance helped Taylorville create separation and maintain control the rest of the way.

The second half saw another strong surge, this time from Grace Rogers. Rogers poured in 13 points after halftime, showcasing her ability to be a powerful scoring presence when the Lady Tornadoes needed it most.

Behind relentless defense and balanced scoring, Taylorville continued to extend the lead, eventually pulling away for a convincing 50–30 win. Bailey Jackson finished with a game-high 21 points, earning Player of the Game honors and proving she’s hitting her stride at the perfect time as postseason play approaches.

With momentum finally on their side, the Lady Tornadoes will look to keep rolling as they prepare for their biggest rivalry test yet—Pana—on Saturday night.
