Rockets Stay Hot, Top Braves 57–41

Rochester and Mt. Zion both entered Saturday night looking to bounce back after tough games on Friday, and the early moments showed just how evenly matched the two teams were.

The first quarter stayed tight, but the Rockets began to create separation behind some tough, physical buckets from Brooks Gavin to take a slim edge. Mt. Zion answered the way it often does, knocking down a pair of three-pointers to stay within striking distance, pulling to within 24–20 just before halftime.

Rochester regrouped in the locker room and came out with renewed energy, turning the second half into a complete team effort. Kai Bruce provided a spark from the perimeter, drilling clutch three-pointers to stretch the lead. The Gregory brothers, Khorbin and Khornell, set the tone defensively, locking down their assignments while also attacking the rim and finishing through contact on the offensive end.

With balanced scoring, strong defense, and steady execution, the Rockets pulled away in the second half and secured a 57–41 victory. The win continues Rochester’s recent success against the Braves and keeps the Rockets rolling as they build momentum moving forward.
