Brown Powers Tornadoes Past Effingham in Overtime Thriller

The Taylorville Tornadoes boys basketball team circled their road matchup at Effingham as a must-win and a statement game, and they played with that urgency from the opening tip. In a rivalry atmosphere with a loud home crowd and strong Taylorville support in the stands, the Tornadoes delivered a dramatic 57–52 overtime victory.

Taylorville came out locked in, controlling the tempo throughout the first half and holding the lead behind strong team defense and energy.
