The South Fork Ponies are making it clear that they are not slowing down anytime soon.
After rolling through the early part of the season, South Fork continued its dominant stretch Thursday evening, putting together another overwhelming performance in front of the home crowd against Palestine-Hudsonville.
The Ponies wasted no time making their presence felt.
South Fork jumped out to a 30-0 lead after the first quarter, completely controlling the game on both sides of the football. The offensive attack continued throughout the second quarter, with the Ponies adding 22 more points to take a commanding 52-6 advantage into halftime.
From there, South Fork cruised to a 62-6 victory, adding yet another impressive win to its season.
Leading the way offensively was quarterback Colton Puccetti, who completed 4 of 7 passes for 150 yards and two touchdowns, helping ignite the Ponies’ explosive offensive attack.
Hudsen Hout also played a major role, finding the end zone twice while adding two successful two-point conversions.
On the ground, Stephon Shanks continued to make an impact, rushing for 49 yards and scoring two touchdowns. Brady Jones added a 28-yard rushing touchdown, while Nolan Mulvaney also found the end zone on the ground after taking over at quarterback.
It was another night where South Fork’s physicality, execution and explosiveness were on full display.
The Ponies didn’t simply win Thursday night — they made another statement.
South Fork has been building momentum, and performances like this continue to show that this is a team capable of making plenty of noise. The Ponies came into the night rolling, and they left with another dominant victory to prove that the momentum is very real.
A 62-6 final score says plenty.
But for South Fork, this season is about more than just putting points on the board.
It’s about establishing an identity.
It’s about playing with confidence.
