Raiders Roll Past Ramsey in Four-Inning Shutout

The Central A&M Raiders wasted no time asserting control Thursday, cruising to a 12–0 win over Ramsey in a game that ended after four innings.

Central A&M set the tone early with aggressive baserunning and relentless pressure at the plate. The Raiders capitalized on nearly every opportunity, swiping multiple bases throughout the game—including several steals of home—that quickly turned traffic on the bases into runs. Their ability to stay active and force mistakes kept Ramsey on its heels from the opening inning.

At the plate, the Raiders made the most of limited at-bats, tallying five hits and drawing seven walks while driving in nine runs. Zachary Snow led the way with two RBIs, while Logan Kelly also contributed a pair of runs driven in. Marshall Minott added a hit and an RBI, and Eli Ferguson helped his own cause with an RBI knock.

Defensively, Central A&M backed up its offense with a clean and efficient performance in the field. The Raiders consistently made routine plays, recording several quick outs at first base and preventing Ramsey from building any momentum.

On the mound, Ferguson was in control from start to finish, allowing just one hit while striking out multiple batters and keeping Ramsey’s lineup off balance. The Rams managed only a single hit in the game and struggled to generate any offensive rhythm, finishing with six strikeouts as a team.

Despite the lopsided score, Ramsey did show moments of resilience defensively, including a key play at the plate that cut down a runner and prevented further damage. However, they were ultimately unable to slow down the Raiders’ high-energy attack.

With the win, Central A&M showcased a complete performance—combining aggressive offense, sharp defense, and dominant pitching—in a game that reflected their control from the first pitch to the final out.
