Lady Bullets Break It Open Late to Defeat TCSVMP 5-1

The Williamsville Lady Bullets used timely hitting and a dominant performance in the circle to pull away from Tri-City TCSVMP for a 5-1 victory.

Williamsville got on the board early in the third inning, manufacturing a run despite being turned away on a double play. Elle Smithers-Campbell lined into a double play, but Carly Webb came across to score before the inning ended, giving the Lady Bullets a 1-0 lead.

TCSVMP answered in the bottom of the fourth, tying the game at 1-1 when Hanna Ferriell delivered a clutch RBI single to right, bringing home Tiffany Farley.

The Lady Bullets responded in the sixth with a big swing. Mia Gallaher ripped a triple to right field, driving in the go-ahead run, and additional chaos on the bases helped extend the lead to 3-1.

Williamsville put the game out of reach in the seventh. Smithers-Campbell came through again with an RBI single, and defensive miscues allowed two more runs to score as the lead stretched to 5-1.

In the circle, Hannah Louis was outstanding, going the distance and allowing just one run while keeping the Tornadoes offense in check throughout.
