Week 5 of the summer began with a slow night as the Springfield Lucky Horseshoes found themselves on the wrong end of a 10-0 ballgame with the Terre Haute REX.
Springfield was held to just two hits and six total base runners.
The REX scored one run in the first, three in the second, and one in the third before two more in the sixth and seventh, and the tenth in the eighth. Terre Haute clubbed three home runs in the contest.
Springfield hits the road to take on DuBois County for two games over the midweek. Hayden Steelman will start Wednesday night from League Stadium
