The Clinton Maroons overcame an early deficit and used a huge fourth inning to surge past the Shelbyville Rams 9-7 in an entertaining varsity softball matchup filled with momentum swings, clutch hits, and offensive fireworks from both teams.

Shelbyville came out aggressive at the plate and grabbed the game’s first lead in the opening inning. Alexis Jokisch delivered a solo home run to left field to put the Rams ahead 1-0, with Aylah Logan hitting a Single right after.
