Pana jumped out early, but Williamsville delivered a dramatic comeback, capped by a walk-off blast in the seventh, to secure a 7–6 win.
The Panthers struck first in the opening inning when Jax Czaikowski drove in Cash Lynch with a single to center. Pana added to its lead in the third, taking advantage of a defensive miscue that allowed two runs to score before Parker Moore launched a solo home run to make it 4–0.
Pana kept the pressure on in the fifth. Czaikowski delivered again, blasting a two-run home run to extend the lead to 6–0 and put the Panthers firmly in control.
Williamsville began to chip away in the bottom half of the fifth. After a wild pitch brought in a run and moved runners into scoring position, Ratliff crushed a three-run homer to left, cutting the deficit to 6–4.
The momentum stayed with Williamsville as Ratliff struck again later, launching his second home run of the game to make it 6–5 and bring the home crowd to life.
In the bottom of the seventh, Williamsville completed the comeback. After Patton worked his way into scoring position, Austwick delivered the final blow with a two-run walk-off home run to left, sealing the 7–6 victory.
