On Monday, March 30th, The Monticello Varsity Sages secured a commanding 5-1 win over the Lincoln Varsity Railsplitters, showcasing a combination of strong pitching and timely hitting at home. The game, played at Monticello’s home field, featured a standout performance from pitcher Matthais Rudolph, as well as a pivotal moment from Jax Bailey that propelled the Sages to their victory.

However, Monticello’s offense broke through in dramatic fashion when Jax Bailey stepped up to the plate.
