The Rochester Rockets wasted no time picking up their first win of the season Tuesday evening, delivering a commanding 9-0 victory over Lincoln in a game that was decided early.
From the opening whistle, the Lady Rockets came out aggressive and in control. Brooklynn Lowder got Rochester on the board first, finishing off a well-placed corner kick by burying the ball into the back of the net. She wasn’t done there—Lowder struck again shortly after, unleashing a beautiful shot from outside the box to extend the Rockets’ lead.
Rochester continued to pour on the offense as Mary Jane Keller cut through the Lincoln defense and added another goal. The scoring surge didn’t slow down, with Tinley Bialas, Alaina Stock, and Charli Lowder all finding the back of the net. Bialas added a second goal later in the half as the Rockets overwhelmed Lincoln on both ends of the field.
By halftime, Rochester had built a staggering 9-0 lead, led by an outstanding performance from Brooklynn Lowder, who finished with four goals in the opening half alone.
With the game well in hand, the contest was cut short, ending with a final score of 9-0.
Rochester will look to carry that momentum into Thursday as they travel to face Eisenhower in the opening match of CS8 conference play.
